Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2020 up for Pre-order on Amazon US

Microsoft has launched Surface Laptop Go 2020 at a price of $549 in the US. It is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US and can be bought in Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum colors. This item will ship to customers on October 13, 2020.

The base model comes with 4GB of ram and has 64GB eMMC storage. If you want more storage and ram, you will have to get the $699 variant which has 8GB of ram and 128GB of SSD storage. There is also a 256GB SSD model which has a price tag of $899 in the US.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2020 is an affordable laptop in the Surface Line-up aimed at stealing some market share from the Google Chromebooks. The display on this model is a 12.4 inch, 1536 x 1024 pixel resolution screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio.

Surface Laptop Go is powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 Quad-core processor. The CPU on this has a base clock speed of 1.0Ghz and a max boost clock speed of 3.60Ghz. For graphics, Microsoft uses integrated Intel UHD graphics. 

Face unlock with Windows Hello is NOT supported on all these variants even though these have a 720P HD webcam. Both 128GB and 256GB variants have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button for quick unlock. However, the base $549 model does not have that.
