Microsoft has launched an updated Surface Pro X 2020 variant with a faster processor. It is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US. It is available to purchase in two different storage options - 256GB / 512GB.
Microsoft Surface Pro X 2020 is powered by Microsoft SQ 2 processor while the older variants have Microsoft SQ 1 chipset. This is a custom made chipset made in collaboration with Qualcomm. The GPU has seen an upgrade as well. The newer models have Adreno 690 GPU while the older ones come with Adreno 685 GPU. So overall, this new Surface Pro X offers better performance than the older model.
Price: The 256GB Surface Pro X 2020 has a pre-order price of $1499.99 in the US. Pre-order online from Amazon US ( paid link )
Other than the change in the processor and GPU, Microsoft hasn't changed much on these new models. The new model is now available in the new Platinum color.
