Nikon Z 50mm f/1.2 S up for Pre-order on Amazon US

Nikon has launched NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S lens for their Z-mount Mirrorless cameras. It is now available to pre-order online from Amazon US.

NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S has a pre-order price tag of $2,096.95 and will ship to customers only on Dec 15, 2020, according to the product page. Nikon has also launched NIKKOR Z 14–24mm f/2.8 S lens at a price of $2,396.95.

NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S is a fast Prime lens with an F1.2 aperture offering fantastic bokeh and low light capabilities. According to the product page, this is the sharpest and fastest 50mm prime lens Nikon has ever created.

This lens, along with the Z 14–24mm, is part of the Nikon S-Line of lenses which are premium NIKKOR Z lenses with the most advanced optics, superior performance, and finest craftsmanship.

This lens has Anti-reflective Nano Crystal Coat (N) and ARNEO (A) coatings to help with eliminating flare, ghosting, and coma. It uses two smaller energy efficient STM stepping motors to acquire faster and accurate AF using the Z mount cameras.
