Sony has officially launched Alpha A7S III ( ILCE7SM3/B ) at a price of $3,499.99 ( body only ). It is now in stock online on Amazon US. You can bundle this camera with a few Sony GM lenses as well.
Sony A7S III features a brand new BSI 12MP sensor with large individual pixels comparing to the other Mirrorless Full Frame cameras in the market. This helps the camera to have great low light performance. Even though Sony hasn't officially acknowledged this yet, the sensor on the A7S3 is a Dual-gain sensor.
A7SIII can shoot 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 videos without overheating thanks to the new passive heat-dissipating mechanism build in. You can also shoot high-quality 4K 120fps slow-mo videos with Audio as well as Autofocus. Sony has equipped this with 5-axis image stabilization as well as an Active stabilization mode to let you control camera shakes while shooting videos.
